From its beginning, Fo Guang Shan Xiang Yun Temple has actively provided various Dharma programs based on the objctives of Fo Guang Shan, to propagate Buddhist teachings through cultural activities, to fostertalent through education, to benefit society through charitable programs, and to purify human hearts and minds through Buddhist practice. With the expansion of Dharma programs and the growth in the number of devotees, expenditures for utilities, insurance, and maintenance also increase.

Therefore, years ago faithful devotees initiated the Dharma Protector Committee to assist the temple. The Committee membership list will be placed in front of the Buddha, with the wish that all members receive merits from the morning-and-evening chanting and the numberous Dharma chanting services.

1. Awakening: $10 or above per month
2. Happiness: $30 per month
3. Brightness: $50 per month
4. Compassion: $100 per month
5. Wisdom: Above $100 per month

Minimum $10 donation per month for 3 years or more.
