To prepare for the 2025 BLIA North American Fellowship Meeting, Austin Xiang Yun Temple has launched the "Little Diplomats" training program, designed by Abbot Venerable Jueji and guided by Venerable Yongjia. This three-month program has attracted 10 youths aged 10 to 16 from the second group of Buddha's Light International Association—Young Adult Division. The curriculum includes tea ceremonies, Buddhist songs, etiquette, Buddha's stories, and meditation, aiming to pass on Buddhist faith and cultivate young talents who will promote Humanistic Buddhism.

At the opening ceremony on January 4, Venerable Yongjia encouraged the participants to cherish this learning opportunity and take on the mission of spreading the Dharma. The first class, taught by Ms. Wu Xiaoyi, introduced the etiquette of tea zen. Participants learned about Buddhist culture through tea tasting, finding comfort and tranquility in the process. The second session, led by Ms. Chen Jiaqing, President of the Chinese Division of Buddha's Light International Association, involved teaching Buddhist songs. The students participated enthusiastically, creating a lively and harmonious atmosphere.

Venerable Jueji echoed Venerable Master Hsing Yun's emphasis on the importance of youth in Buddhism, encouraging participants to take on the responsibility of service. They are inspired to aspire to be "diplomats of Buddhism," building positive connections and growing through these experiences.
