Planning for the 2025 North American Fellowship Meeting: A Collaborative Visit to Austin's JW Marriott and Xiang Yun Temple

On the afternoon of November 15, Venerable Man Guang from the Dallas Association, Venerable Jue Fa from the Houston Association, Venerable Jue Ji from the Austin Association, and representatives from all three locations gathered at the JW Marriott Hotel in Austin to conduct an on-site visit for the upcoming 2025 North American Fellowship Meeting of the International Buddha's Light Association, scheduled for April next year. The hotel’s event manager gave a comprehensive overview of the facilities, guiding the group through the conference hall, dining area, guest rooms, and more. They engaged in lively discussions about venue arrangements and flexible space usage, aiming to highlight the solemnity and distinctiveness of the fellowship event for optimal results. The two-hour tour concluded smoothly, with the enthusiastic cooperation of the hotel staff boosting the organizing team’s confidence.

After the visit, the group headed to Xiang Yun Temple for a meeting to further discuss the event, where team leaders shared their thoughts and enjoyed a dinner together. The hot vegetarian dishes provided a warm, comforting touch, setting the stage for future collaboration. Coinciding with the full moon on the fifteenth day of the lunar calendar, the bright moon symbolized fulfillment and good fortune. Under its glow, they exchanged heartfelt farewells and, filled with joy, embarked on their journeys home.
