Austin Fo Guang Shan Board and Chapter Leaders Host Appreciation Banquet for Dharma Masters

On October 19, 2024, the Austin Fo Guang Shan Board and chapter leaders held a grand banquet at the renowned local restaurant, True Food Kitchen, to express their heartfelt thanks to four Dharma Masters from Xiang Yun Temple for their dedicated guidance and hard work over the past year. The event was organized to show gratitude to Venerable Jue Ji, Venerable Yong Jia, Venerable Ru Yuan, and Venerable Yi Song for their tireless contributions to spreading the Dharma and supporting the development of the Fo Guang Shan organization.

In addition to the four Dharma Masters, attendees included the presidents, vice presidents, key leaders from the Austin Fo Guang Shan and its Chinese and English chapters, as well as core members of the Youth Group. The Dharma Masters and attendees shared their insights and experiences from the past year in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The banquet not only served to express appreciation to the Dharma Masters but also strengthened the connection and collaboration between Fo Guang Shan and the temple. Looking ahead, there is a shared hope that Fo Guang Shan and Xiang Yun Temple will continue to work together in promoting Humanistic Buddhism and advancing community development.
