By: Liu, Yuke

On the evening of Saturday, October 19, the English division of BLIA-Austin, in collaboration with the Youth Adult Division, hosted a " Pumpkin Night Field Trip" at Pioneer Farm. Twenty-five participants from both the Chinese and English divisions enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere filled with laughter, experiencing the rich autumn ambiance and festive joy.

The event venue was shrouded in mysterious fog, with various creatively carved pumpkins adorning the surroundings, complemented by uniquely themed cultural exhibition areas. In the Chinese-themed area, dragon decorations intertwined among hanging Chinese lanterns. Walking along the Chinese-themed path while listening to melodious traditional Chinese music transported attendees back to ancient Eastern festival celebrations.

In the Mexican-themed area, vibrant skull paintings and festive decorations infused the space with a lively holiday spirit. A giant Mexican guitar drew the most attention. The displays of different cultures provided participants with a distinctive visual and cultural experience.

The event culminated in a breathtaking fire dance performance that delighted the audience, perfectly concluding this trip.
