Austin Buddha Light Association to celebrate the birthday of the centenarians in nursing homes

On July 21, the Austin Buddha Light Association organized more than a dozen core members to hold a unique birthday celebration for the centenarians in the nursing home, bringing flowers, songs and laughter to many elderly people in the nursing home.

Lucky Dharma Band brings popular classic songs to the elderly. Members of the YAD Youth Club brought their own assembled robot models to show the elderly. The representative of the Chinese branch brought a hundred beautiful carnations and gave them to all the old people present. The representatives of the English branch prepared cup cakes and other delicious food to bring sweet greetings to the elderly. The climax of the event is to sing a birthday song for Mable, a centenarian in a nursing home. This activity was particularly praised by the elderly in nursing homes. An old man told us that so many people came to visit everyone and brought delicious food, flowers and songs. This is the happiest activity he has participated in the past few years.
