- Human Society reporter Zhiding Austin reports
On Saturday, June 8th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, the Austin Fo Guang BLIA Youth Group II held the "Sunday Lunch Box Program," with six participants. This activity aimed to provide free nutritious meals to impoverished families in Austin, allowing them to enjoy nutritious and community-inspired food. The team members demonstrated team spirit by conducting inventory checks and food distribution, cutting fruits and vegetables, making batter, baking muffins, packaging, and updating online information to facilitate ordering for families in need, with meals delivered on Sunday. The Youth Group II members are all high school students who are dedicated to serving the community's poor, and they worked with great joy and enthusiasm.
