Austin Xiangyun Temple Sanhao Children's Kung Fu Camp

6/3 Xiangyun Temple's seven-day Sanhao children's kung fu summer camp opened. This summer camp aims to let children learn the wisdom of life in joy and apply the three goods to their lives. A total of 8 children aged 5-10 were happy to participate.

At 9 o'clock in the morning, the little bodhisattvas couldn't wait to arrive at the Xiangyun Temple, led by five use group volunteers and Venerable Yongjia, to the main hall to worship the Buddha and learn the etiquette of the Buddhas. Then, volunteer sister Shi Lei, taught Sanhao singing and rhythmic dance. After a short break, coach Kevin brought children a lively children's kung fu and lion dance lessons. Then a delicious vegetarian lunch was served.

Tiffany, a local loving mother, taught the children some art and craft and shared Buddhist stories. Youth group volunteers use PPT to talk and interact with children.

The whole day's activities were full of joy. After the first day, the little bodhisattvas did not want to leave. They all said that they would come to the Buddhist hall at 6 a.m, could not wait to come back.
