New House Blessing Ceremony

On the afternoon of March 30th, Sister Olive Michell, a member of the English branch, invited the priests of Xiangyun Temple to her new house to hold a blessing ceremony. Olive loves music and is the violinist of the Buddhist Dharma band. She is a family member of the Dharma band. She moved to Austin in 2017. She started the Tai Chi class in 2022, and then began to learn Buddhism. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois (UIUC), she worked at Intel Computer Company and was responsible for software development. At present, she continues to study for a master's degree in computer software engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a young and talented. She loves gardening and metal welding. On the day of the blessing, 12 people participated, most of whom were members of the band. Venerable Jue Ji presented Master Xingyun's writing "Enjoy the peace and nature “, wishing Olive a smooth study and a successful career, and a cultivation in the Buddha's Guang family, and promoting Buddhism with music.
